Indian Thicket was a carefully reconstructed Indian Village depicting the Cherokee and Catawba tribes. Besides the hair-raising Witchdoctor ride, there were ceremonial dances, war canoes and pottery souvenirs made by real Indians. There was even an authentic kiln used to bake the pottery as seen in the photo. The Indian Thicket section only lasted from 1973-74 and became part of Country Crossroads in 1975.
This small arena was originally used for the Indian ceremonial dances in 1973-74, and then became home to the "Fowl Play" bird show for 1975-76.
