The Meeting House was a customer service and information center located just inside the gate on the other side of the bridge in Plantation Square. It also featured complimentary baby strollers and umbrellas for guests. American Credit Corporation was the official sponsor of the Meeting House. Directly behind the Meeting House was a Post Office where you could conveniently mail your postcards. Both buildings were thought to be torn down after the 1975 season, but I was informed recently that the Post Office building was actually relocated within the entry plaza for a short while before eventually being demolished. The original location of the Post Office can be noted better in the 1973 aerial below and it does appear to be the same building in this 1980 photo, on the right side just over the bridge (under the American flag).
