Harmony Hall was a 600 seat saloon-style theater in the Country Crossroads area of Carowinds. It featured a variety of shows over it's 28 year history but was best known for it's country hoedown shows from the 1970's. Then came the "Country Bear Show" and it's animated bears in 1980-'81. and then the "Phantom of the Opry" show, which was a huge hit starting in 1982. Nearby, the "Great American High Dive Show" played between June 7 to Aug. 29, 1982. Divers would jump from 70 feet into a 10 feet of water.
Although the roofline and the clock tower remain the same (minus the clock), it is easy to see what changes were made to Harmony Hall for the Scooby Doo's Haunted Mansion ride which opened in 2001. This attractions was renamed the "Boo Blasters on Boo Hill" for the 2010 season.
